Abstract
According to UNESCO definition, Traditional Knowledge (TK) is “the cumulative and dynamic body of knowledge, know- how and representations possessed by peoples with long histories of interaction with their natural milieu. It is intimately tied to language, social relations, spirituality and worldview, and is generally held collectively”. As defined by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), it is knowledge, know-how, skills and practices that are developed, sustained and passed on from generation to generation within a community, often forming part of its cultural or spiritual identity.
